Bird Nest

This is the wreath on my front door. We were hearing birds cherping all the time, but we didn't notice the nest until Aaron found a huge stick and cotton stuck to the wreath, he went to pull it off and noticed the nest.

The eggs looked like little jelly beans and they have all hatched except for one. It is really hard to get a good picture. But you get the idea. They really are not much to look at right now, but I will keep updating the growth of the little birds.

It is so funny that we have altered our lives for these baby birds. We don't turn on our light outside because we don't want it in their eyes, we have everybody come through the garage door so we don't wake them. However, we already had an iccident, Aaron left the light off and opened the front door and the mom flew in the house and hit the mirror in the bathroom. When we looked in to see if she was ok we found her on the floor not moving. Aaron went to touch her and she flew back into the nest. We are so glad she is ok, we would have had to take care of these babies if anything would have happened.
